01

The promise

The gallery is done.
The book is the part you skip.

Clients ask for a printed book. Laying one out costs you an evening you don't have, so the answer is usually no — and the gallery expires with nothing printed. Hickory drafts the book for you so the answer can be yes on the same day you deliver.

02

How it works

You upload once.
We do the layout.

Three steps, one login. You review a book instead of building one, and your client never leaves your studio's gallery to buy it.

Printed and drop-shipped to them. Hickory never appears on the box.

Album software makes you lay out every spread. Print labs make you order boxes and resell them yourself. Hickory drafts the book, sells it inside your gallery, and ships it to your client — while leaving every page under your control.

The book

A premium companion book.
Not a flush-mount.

Every Hickory book is a press-printed casewrap hardcover on archival paper, printed by Lulu Direct. It is genuinely beautiful, and it is not a lay-flat flush-mount album — we won't pretend otherwise. Keep your flagship album where it is. Let this cover everything around it.

What studios sell with it

New revenue beside
your main album.

These are the books clients already ask for and you decline for lack of time. Now they're a link in the gallery you were sending anyway.

Parent albums

Two extra copies for the mothers. Designed once, printed twice.

Session books

A hardcover from the engagement shoot, months before the wedding book.

Team and class books

One event, twenty-five families, twenty-five chances to sell.

Client gift books

A thank-you hardcover that keeps your studio on their shelf.

Pricing

You keep the margin
on every copy.

Print cost is the only fixed number, and it's a verified one: hardcovers start at about $20 a copy with US shipping included, rise with page count, and drop on volume. You set retail in your own storefront and keep everything above it.

The Hickory subscription is a flat monthly fee, separate from that math. We're still setting it, and we'd rather quote it to you directly than post a number we'd have to change. Ask, and we'll send it the same day.

Try it on one event
you've already shot.

Upload a finished gallery and look at the book it designs. That's the whole evaluation — ten minutes, and you'll know.
